The LP-15 is an ultra-small, surface mounted pickup designed for use on smaller sized soundboards. Ideal for Ukes, Guitars and other instruments with small to medium sized soundboards where a small size and the light weight of the pickup are of utmost importance. The LP-15 Outsider comes ready to use and has a ten foot cable and standard 1/4" plug.

The passive LP-15 pickups work perfectly well and sound good when plugged straight into any decent quality guitar amp.  As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. Note that a preamp will be needed for use when plugged directly into a mixer or P.A. system.

The LP-15 series is a new and revolutionary design for soundboard pickups.

LP-15 pickups are the small, thin, light, and very low profile. Built in a new patent pending process, they are less than one sixteenth of an inch thick at only 0.049" (1.25mm).

The pickup sensor is extremely light in weight (weighing less than 2 grams) and does not inhibit soundboard movement or vibration.

LP-15 Outsider Installation Instructions

The LP-15  pickup is offered for use on instruments with smaller soundboards such as a uke, tenor guitar, baritone uke, or parlour guitars. They may also be used on instruments with skin heads,  such as an esraj, kora, shamisen, and the rabab.
