The V-02 NT, is the non-terminated version of the V-02 pickup. Although superseded by the V-03, these models still provide excellent reproduction, range and clarity of sound using a single sensor embedded in a high quality, medium density bridge. Thousands of players, professionals and amateurs alike, have been using these pickups for many years.  The response is sweet from the bottom end right up to the top. The pickup has excellent volume, great bottom and mids, and overall, a sweet, even response. It has been tested and proven over nearly thirty years in production.


The passive V-02NT works perfectly well and sounds good when plugged straight into any decent quality guitar amp.  As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. Note that a preamp will be needed for use when plugged directly into a mixer or P.A. system.

The single piezo sensing unit is built into the bridge, as a result it cannot fall out or get out of position or adjustment. There is no acoustic degradation or loss of normal acoustic tone or volume. All V-03 models are in 4/4 size and fit a normal full sized adult violin.
