NR-02 Player Resonator Pickup for National-style Biscuit Bridge Guitars (Passive)
The NR-2 is the simplest way to add a pickup to a biscuit bridged resonator guitar. The sensor for the NR-2 adheres to the biscuit with 3M VHB tape. This, the basic model of the NR-2, comes supplied with an endpin jack.
The passive NR-02 works perfectly well and sounds good when plugged straight into any decent quality guitar amp. As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. Note that a preamp will be needed for use when plugged directly into a mixer or P.A. system.

The NR-2 sensor is small and light in weight. At only 1/8" high, 1/4" wide and 1 1/2"" in length, it does not affect the acoustic sound of the instrument. It is normally attached with 3M VHB mounting tape to the top of the biscuit.
