NR-02 Neo Resonator Pickup for National-style Biscuit Bridge Guitars (Passive)
The NR-02 Neo combines the outstanding NR-2 sensor with Schatten Design's Neo-Jack to provide great sound and a revolutionary new 1/4" output jack to give you what is probably the easiest and tidiest installation possible.
The sensor for the NR-02 adheres to the biscuit with 3M VHB tape and the Neo-Jack mounts just behind the tailpiece using the existing strap button and screw.
The passive NR-02 works perfectly well and sounds good when plugged straight into any decent quality guitar amp. As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. Note that a preamp will be needed for use when plugged directly into a mixer or P.A. system.

The NR-2 sensor is small and light in weight. At only 1/8" high, 1/4" wide and 1 1/2"" in length, it does not affect the acoustic sound of the instrument. It is normally attached with 3M VHB mounting tape to the top of the biscuit.
The Neo-Jack installs quickly and simply to the back side of the tailpiece and uses the original strap button and screw. The lead wire from the NR-2 sensor is simply brought out of the cover plate to the jack as shown in this photo
