The NR-2 is the simplest way to add a pickup to a biscuit bridged resonator guitar. The sensor for the NR-2 adheres to the biscuit with 3M VHB tape. The pickup comes prewired and ready to install with the low profile M2plus jack assembly c/w volume control, that nestles in right next to the tailpiece. No drilling or modification to the instrument is needed.

The passive NR-02 works perfectly well and sounds good when plugged straight into any decent quality guitar amp.  As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. Note that a preamp will be needed for use when plugged directly into a mixer or P.A. system.

The NR-02 sensor is small and light in weight. At only 1/8" high, 1/4" wide and 1 1/2"" in length, it does not affect the acoustic sound of the instrument. It is normally attached with 3M VHB mounting tape to the top of the biscuit.

Jack installation is simple as the jack assembly simply adheres to the top in the area beneath the tailpiece.
