We are running very low or have none of certain Dupont guitars.
Unfortunately, due to illness, Dupont are dealing with a backlog of orders and therefore currently have no spare instruments with which to replenish our showroom stock.
We apologise for any inconvenience and ask that you bear with us, and them, whilst they catch up. Thank you.
It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were celebrating having a full range of Dupont gypsy guitars in stock. Less than a month later and The Old Dairy is beginning to look a bit empty again in certain sections as the MD50, MDC50, and Busato Royale have all gone to new homes.
If you would like to try the Busato Luxe we strongly recommend booking an appointment as soon as possible as we have already had a few people express interest in it.
If you would like to try any Dupont guitar please call us in advance as we can get most instruments in from Maurice with a couple of week’s notice.
Although you would normally associate the name Mario Maccaferri with grande bouche gypsy guitars, we thought you might find this picture of a petite bouche interesting.
Not only is it signed on the top but it has an inlaid wooden finger plate.
We don’t have a date for this instrument but suspect it is from the early 30s when he was experimenting with his design.
