We frequently talk about our wonderful Spanish luthiers – 3rd Generation Ricardo Sanchis Carpio and 4th Generation David and Herman Sanchis Lopez – but we’ve struggled to find verified good quality video of their instruments to share with you.

Thanks to all the celebrations around their 100th Anniversary last year, a few high quality videos were shot and we are able to share this one with you – enjoy!

If you want to try these instruments for yourself contact us and we’ll be happy to arrange an appointment for you.

Sadly, we don’t have any left-handed ones in stock but, for all you Southpaws out there, we can get them made at no extra cost to you.

100% European

As today is the European Day of Languages, we thought we’d take the opportunity to celebrate the wonderful European luthiers with whom we work.

One of the joys of working with British and European luthiers is that we get to know them personally, we visit their workshops, and even get to know their families. Something that can’t be done when instruments roll off an assembly line in the Far East.

Thank you, gracias, merci, danke, and tack to all our current luthiers: Ricardo Sanchis Carpio from Spain, John Catherwood from Ireland, Maurice Dupont from France, the UK-based Swiss Ruedi Egger, David & German Sanchis Lopez from Spain, Alan Miller from the UK, and Lennart Persson from Sweden.

We look forwards to continuing to working with them to bring you the best instruments in their respective genres.

Come in – we’re open

06 - we're openNormally we’re only open by appointment at weekends but, with a few people coming in to collect their instruments, we took the decision to open for the full day.

So, if you’ve not had the chance to visit us before and fancy a mooch round The Old Dairy why not come and see us at Brickwall Farm today?  We’re on a working farm so, as you come down the drive, you might see the cows or horses in the field, the chickens running around their pen, the lavender hens that wander around, and you could even take a walk out to the lake.

If the animals aren’t reason enough, don’t forget we have a wonderful range or instruments for left and right handers, our Schatten Design pickups, Stimer pickups and amps, plus our wide range of giftware (90% of which has been made right here in the UK with the remaining 10% coming out of wester Europe).

So what’s keeping you…?  We look forwards to seeing you soon
