2020 was about as far from a normal year as it could be, Nevertheless, we’re giving you a chance to have your say about the sort of content we post and when we post it.

Taking everything into consideration it seems that you are happy for us to keep things as they are.
The only things we were asked for more of were sales, competitions, and offers. Because we do our utmost to bring you the best price on our instruments, accessories, and giftware, coupled with the fact we buy from small lutheries and companies in Europe and the EU, it means we operate on small margins. This in turn gives us little room to do discounts without risking taking a loss on the item.
It’s worth bearing in mind that companies who frequently offer large discounts are still making a profit on that sale price. So it should give you an idea of what it cost them in the first place We hope this helps you understand why our sales (with the exception of our 10th Anniversary ten monthly offers) are few and far between.
2019 is well under way so we thought we’d give you another chance to #HaveYourSay.
Over the last few years we’ve developed a pattern of posts that runs most weeks with #TuesdayTrivia, #WednesdayWisdom, and #ThrowbackThursday. We also do a monthly round up of the music industry professionals who died the previous month.
On an ad hoc basis we do #OnThisDay birthday tributes, tributes to musicians in our genres on their deaths, #FridayFunny posts, National Days, and music-themed quotes.
We also inform you of offers, competitions, flash sales, new products, out of stock and back in stock items, weekend openings, and (unfortunately far too frequently last year) days when The Old Dairy has had to close.
