Today we take a break from our usual posts to pay tribute to all those affected by the holocaust.

We cannot begin to imagine the pain of those musicians who survived because they played for their captors whilst their friends and families died.

The #HolocaustMemorialDay Trust’s theme for 2022 is One Day. They want people to put aside their differences to come together to remember, to learn about the Holocaust in the hope that there may be One Day in the future with no genocide. When we learn more about the past, we empathise with others today, and we take action for a better future.
Take a moment today to remember why we have this day; that the lessons of the past are not forgotten and may never be repeated.
