THANK YOU!

24 -katie meluaA huge thank you to all of you who clicked through on last week’s post about supporting the petition for Instruments on Planes as it got 8,000 signatures in a mere 3 1/2 days :-O

If you haven’t signed it yet, please do so. As anyone who has ever had to travel with anything larger than a clarinet will tell you, this is important!  So, on Leap Day, we’re urging you to leap into action and sign here.

Barrios

We love our luthiers and their history.  Whether it is Maurice Dupont maintaining Django Reinhardt’s instruments, that have been handed down to his grandsons, or the 4th generation brothers Sanchis Lopez whose great grandfather made guitars for the legendary Barrios.

As our #ThrowbackThursday post was of Django and Stephane Grappelli last week, we thought we’d redress the balance this week by featuring Agustín Barrios – enjoy!
