The Passive RB-1 pickup will sound great when plugged straight into any decent bass amp.

The Active RB-1A model is designed for payers needing to plug directly into PA systems and prefer the convenience of an on-board preamp on their bass.

The RB series will sound great on any upright bass. For Rock-A-Biliy or slap-style playing try the RB-2 dual sensor series with the extra fingerboard pickup.
