Designed for the legendary Django Reinhardt in 1935, the Argentine strings have since accompanied prestigious gypsy jazz guitarists in France and around the world. Perfectly adapted to the legendary Selmer-Maccaferri guitars, and to reproduce authentic gypsy jazz sounds. Argentine strings are wound to ensure a perfectly homogeneous connection between the steel core and the silvery metal wire. Besides their great resistance and their longevity, they offer a clear and bright sound, and also great power and very rich tones, perfectly adapted to gypsy jazz style of playing.
