Triada – Bulgarian Guitar Trio

Triada Classical Guitar TrioEstablished in 2001 Triada consists of the three brothers Czekardzikovi: Nikola, Vasil, and Petar from Bulgaria. The three brothers began studying the guitar in their early childhood with Professor Ljuben Haralambiev in Varna. After many radio and TV appearances in their home country they toured Europe from 1994 to 1996 before moving to the USA where they continued their studies at California State University with David Grimes. In 2004 Triada won first prize in the Annual Guitar Ensemble Competition in Brownsville, Texas.

The trio recently appeared on one of the many sound stages at the 2010 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA playing a range of the Bulgarian made Orpheus Valley solid guitars from Kremona. The virtuosity and precision of their playing was superbly complemented by the responsiveness and tonal warmth of these beautifully made guitars.

Sandarac wishes the boys well and look forward to seeing them in the UK before too long.
