Gypsy Guitars - Selmer Maccaferri Style

These guitars are faithful reproductions of the original Maccaferri design ‘grand bouche’ guitars used by Django Reindhart. They were later replaced after Maccaferri’s departure from Selmer by the ‘petit bouche’ model. The guitar is immediately identifiable from its distinctive large D-shaped soundhole. The neck joins to the body at the 12th fret. Longer neck versions are available as an option. The original Maccaferri guitars were fitted with a soundbox; these are now an optional extra. A range of pickup options are available including the authentic Stimer48. The soundboard is Spruce with Cedar as an option. The fingerboard is Ebony. The width of the neck at the nut is 44.5mm. Selmer style tailpiece.

The guitar comes with two bridges of tinted Rosewood. A Left -hand option is available.
