RG-03 Series Pickups for Spider Bridge Resonator Guitars

It took several years to accomplish but we finally produced a resonator guitar pickup that met our exacting standards. For faithful sound reproduction, ease of installation, great anti-feedback characteristics, and so much more.

Until we designed the RG-03, all resonator pickups were either stuck onto the side of the cone (which invariably caused feedback issues) or else required the replacement of large parts of the resonator assembly (not to mention a lot of expense and probable modification to the instrument). There also were some magnetic pickups that were meant to fit under the strings at the end of the fingerboard - but these were never particularly acoustic sounding.

The RG-03's in passive format are available with your choice of either an endpin jack or one of two jack assemblies (one with a volume control) - both of which simply adhere to the instrument and snuggle in right next to to the tailpiece.  Featuring our new MVC jack assemblies, which simply attach to the underside of the existing tailpiece or the area next to the tailpiece.

For those players who want an on board preamp, the RG-03A is the active version in the lineup and combines the RG-03 sensor with our Artist II endpin jack preamp that may be run from phantom power - so no battery need be installed.

NR-2 Series Pickups for Biscuit Bridge Resonator Guitars

Designed For 'National' Style Reso's - Pickup Attaches To The Saddle or The Top Of The Biscuit

The NR-2 series of pickups is our way of providing a really good sounding pickup that can be mounted quickly and easily to National style instruments without having to drill any holes for anything when installing the passive versions.

The NR-2's in passive format are available with your choice of either an endpin jack or one of two jack assemblies (one with a volume control) - both of which simply adhere to the instrument and snuggle in right next to to the tailpiece.  Featuring our new MVC jack assemblies, which simply attach to the underside of the existing tailpiece or the area next to the tailpiece.  

The MVC jack assemblies give you a much more secure and reliable mounting for an output jack assembly than anything that clamps to the side of the instrument. The jack assembly, which nestles in right next to the tail piece, is only a half an inch high and mounts to the tailpiece (not to the body).

For those players who want an on board preamp, the NR-2A is the active version in the lineup and combines the NR-2 sensor with our Artist II endpin jack preamp that may be run from phantom power - so no battery need be installed.

TC Series Pickups for Tricone Resonator Guitars

TC Pickups Are Designed Specifically For Tricones

The TC series of pickups provide a really good sounding pickup that can be mounted quickly and easily to Tricone instruments without having to drill any holes for anything when installing the TC Std or TC Pro passive versions.
